Russian Troops Capture Sosnovka in Dnepropetrovsk Offensive

Russian forces advanced on the Dnepropetrovsk front, seizing Sosnovka and striking Ukrainian brigades. Over 265 troops, vehicles, and an EW station were lost.

Russian forces under the «Vostok» grouping are pressing their advance on the Dnepropetrovsk axis, with the Ministry of Defense reporting the capture of the settlement of Sosnovka.

According to the ministry, the offensive struck several Ukrainian formations at once, including elements of two mechanized brigades, marine units, and territorial defense detachments. Heavy fighting was reported near Chervonoe in the Zaporozhye region, as well as in the areas of Ivanovka, Verbovoe, Kalinovskoe, and Vishnevoe in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

The ministry added that Ukrainian forces lost more than 265 personnel during the operations. Two armored vehicles, nine trucks, and an electronic warfare station were also destroyed in the clashes.
