Putin and Trump to Hold Talks Soon, Moscow Confirms Plan

The Kremlin confirms a planned meeting between Putin and Trump, initiated by the U.S. Diplomatic teams are working on details, with the date and venue yet to be disclosed.
Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov has announced that preparations are underway for an upcoming face-to-face meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and former U. S. President Donald Trump. According to Ushakov, the initiative for the talks came from the American side.
He said both countries had «in principle» reached an agreement to organize the presidential meeting «in the coming days." While exact dates remain undisclosed, Ushakov indicated that the proposed timeline could fall as early as next week.
Diplomatic teams from both Moscow and Washington have already started working together on the logistics of the high-level summit. Although the specific venue for the talks has been selected, Ushakov noted that the location would be revealed later.
This marks a significant step in ongoing communications between the two nations, as officials on both sides appear to move toward renewed engagement at the leadership level.
