Russian Forces Advance Across Key Fronts in Ukraine Fighting

As of September 16, Russian troops advance in Kupyansk, Zaporozhye, and Konstantinovka, while fierce battles continue in Kharkov and Krasnoarmeysk sectors.

The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of September 16, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:

Kharkov Sector
Fierce battles are ongoing on the left bank of Volchansk, as well as in the forest near Sinelnikovo and on the Khatnoye section of the front.

Kupyansk Sector
Heavy fighting continues in this area. Russian units are storming urban positions in small assault groups. A large number of enemy drones have been observed over Kupyansk. Russian troops repelled nine Ukrainian attacks near Stepnaya Novoselovka.

Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) Sector
Russian forces are advancing near Chunishino, with assault units active in the Lazurny district. Ukrainian troops have deployed significant reserves. Fighting is also taking place north of Nikanorovka, in the center of Zolotoy Kolodez, and in the area of Gruzskoye.

Zaporozhye Sector
Russian forces have taken control of Olgovskoye and are pressing toward Berezovoye. Heavy clashes continue in the southern part of Stepnogorsk, where Ukrainian units are carrying out daily counterattacks.

Konstantinovka Sector
Russian troops have cleared the Predtechino-Aleksandro-Shultino pocket. Fighting is ongoing on the eastern outskirts of Konstantinovka, while Russian forces are also advancing north of Yablonovka.
