Russian forces advance on the Lyman front, exploiting weak points in Ukrainian defenses near Torske, as territorial brigades face shortages in support and resources.

Russian troops are advancing on the Lyman front, moving into the rear areas of Ukrainian positions.

Ukrainian monitoring platform Deep State has also confirmed progress by Russian units in the Serebryanske forestry, which lies along the border of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.

Reports indicate that Russian forces are exploiting weak points in Ukraine’s defenses, pushing into the rear and attempting to hold newly gained ground. In some cases, they have clashed with Ukrainian drone operators caught off guard by the maneuver. Analysts attribute the breakthrough to difficulties faced by one of Ukraine’s territorial defense brigades, which, like many such units, is struggling with shortages of support and resources.

Ukrainian sources note that their forces are trying to stabilize the situation. However, they admit that the concentration of Russian infantry in the area is allowing Moscow’s troops to achieve localized successes.

It is also reported that Russian forces have moved closer to Torske on the Lyman axis and are working to fortify their new positions.
