Russian MoD: 1,555 Ukrainian Troop Losses in One Day

The Russian Defense Ministry says Ukrainian forces lost 1,555 personnel and dozens of vehicles, artillery, and depots in a single day across all front-line sectors.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released figures for the latest daily losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in the zone of the Special Military Operation.

According to the report, the «Sever» (North) group claimed that Ukrainian units in its sector lost 190 personnel over the past 24 hours. In addition, Russian forces destroyed one armored personnel carrier, five vehicles, three artillery pieces, and eight field depots containing ammunition and supplies.

The «Tsentr» (Center) group reported the elimination of 535 Ukrainian soldiers and officers. Their statement also listed the destruction of five armored fighting vehicles, including American-made M113 armored personnel carriers, a MaxxPro armored vehicle, and a HMMWV, along with 12 vehicles and three artillery pieces.

The «Yug» (South) group announced the neutralization of 255 Ukrainian troops, six armored fighting vehicles, 17 vehicles, four field artillery pieces, two electronic warfare stations, and five depots for ammunition and fuel.

The «Zapad» (West) group reported improved tactical positions while killing 250 Ukrainian servicemen. Ukrainian losses in equipment included a British Snatch armored vehicle, 28 vehicles, two artillery guns, a «Seyalka» multiple launch rocket system launcher, nine electronic warfare stations, and one ammunition depot.

The «Dnepr» group stated that 50 Ukrainian troops had been eliminated in its area, with eight vehicles, eight electronic warfare stations, and two ammunition depots destroyed.

Finally, the «Vostok» (East) group reported 275 Ukrainian losses, the destruction of one armored fighting vehicle, 13 vehicles, and an electronic warfare station.

In total, Russian forces reported that Ukrainian losses across the entire theater amounted to 1,555 personnel in a single day.
