Tucker Carlson claims Russia is considering a nuclear strike on Europe, saying the Oreshnik hypersonic launch toward Lvov was a warning to the UK and Germany.

US TV host Tucker Carlson said on his video blog that Russia is seriously considering a nuclear strike against European countries that, in his words, are pushing Ukraine to continue the war.

Carlson claimed this would not be aimed at Kyiv, but at Europe — specifically the United Kingdom and Germany. As an example, he referred to Russia’s recent hypersonic missile launches and said the Oreshnik strike on Lvov should be seen as a hint and a warning.

According to Carlson, the strike was not intended to destroy critical infrastructure or cause large-scale civilian casualties. He interpreted it as a message to European states that, from Moscow’s perspective, its core existential interests are under threat. Carlson said that if Europe does not step back, the next hypersonic missile — which he claimed no country has reliable protection against — could be launched toward Europe, and that it could carry a nuclear warhead.
