Russian MoD: 1,395 Ukrainian Losses Reported in 24 Hours

The Russian Defense Ministry says Ukrainian forces lost 1,395 troops, tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, and depots in 24 hours as the operation continues.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released updated figures on Ukrainian losses over the past day of fighting, as of September 18.

According to the report, the «Sever» (North) group eliminated 205 Ukrainian servicemen in its sector of the front. Its strikes also destroyed two tanks, one armored fighting vehicle, five vehicles, a field artillery gun, an electronic warfare station, and four supply depots.

In the zone of the «Zapad» (West) group, Russian forces reportedly killed 230 Ukrainian troops, destroyed three Western-made armored fighting vehicles, 19 vehicles, and an artillery piece. Ten electronic warfare stations and five ammunition depots were also taken out.

The «Yug» (South) group reported eliminating 195 Ukrainian soldiers. In addition, Ukrainian forces lost three armored vehicles, 15 vehicles, three field artillery guns, three electronic warfare stations, and five depots containing ammunition and other supplies.

The «Vostok» (East) group stated that Ukrainian forces lost 280 personnel in its area of operations. Equipment losses included a tank, three armored vehicles, ten vehicles, an artillery piece, and an electronic warfare station.

The «Tsentr» (Center) group claimed the destruction of 435 Ukrainian troops and officers, along with six armored vehicles, seven vehicles, and three artillery guns.

Finally, the «Dnepr» group reported 50 Ukrainian losses, eight vehicles destroyed, two artillery pieces knocked out, five electronic warfare stations eliminated, and three ammunition depots destroyed.

In total, Ukrainian losses across all sectors amounted to 1,395 personnel in a single day. The Russian Ministry of Defense noted that the Special Military Operation in Ukraine is ongoing.
