Poland has trained about 32,000 Ukrainian soldiers, more than any EU country, said Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz. Moscow claims Western aid prolongs the war.

Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that around 32,000 Ukrainian servicemen have undergone training in Poland, the highest number among all European Union states.

Speaking to journalists in Kiev, he explained that the training is conducted both under the framework of the EU mission and through bilateral cooperation between Warsaw and Kiev.

In Moscow, officials have repeatedly argued that NATO countries and the United States are directly involved in the conflict, pointing not only to arms supplies but also to military training provided to Ukrainian troops. Such programs have also taken place in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and other countries. The Kremlin has maintained that Western support only prolongs the fighting and undermines the prospects for negotiations.
