A Russian truck with a new tactical symbol near Berdyansk caused panic in Ukraine, though no evidence confirms mass deployment of such vehicles to Zaporizhzhya.

A Russian military truck marked with an unusual tactical symbol has stirred heated debate in Ukraine. The incident was described by Vladimir Rogov, co-chair of the Coordination Council for the Integration of New Regions.

Photos and videos of the vehicle, allegedly filmed near Berdyansk, spread quickly through Ukrainian Telegram channels. The footage showed a Russian truck bearing a new tactical sign, which local outlets presented as «proof» that fresh Russian columns had been moved to the Zaporizhzhya direction.

Rogov noted that a single video of one truck had triggered panic in Ukraine, with claims that Russia was already deploying additional forces to the south. He pointed out the irony that one vehicle could fuel such widespread alarm.

According to him, attention centered on the symbol painted on the cab-resembling a black square. Rogov suggested that Ukrainian authorities interpreted it as a warning: continued resistance and support for the current regime could lead to «oblivion and darkness.»

At the same time, Rogov underlined that there is no confirmed evidence of Russian convoys with this symbol being transferred to the Zaporizhzhya region.
