US May Drop Ukraine Aid Over Possible Iran Military Strike

Washington may halt support for Ukraine as the US considers a military strike on Iran, with talks stalled and Middle East tensions escalating.
Washington could suspend support for Ukraine if it opts to prioritize a military operation against Iran. This scenario was outlined by retired U. S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis during a broadcast on the YouTube channel Deep Dive.
Davis warned that the launch of a new conflict in the Middle East could draw the United States in so deeply that disengagement would no longer be possible. In that case, he argued, assistance to Kiev would be at risk, as dealing with Iran would take precedence for Washington.
The analyst pointed to recent moves by the U.S. leadership, noting that President Donald Trump has already ordered American naval vessels to be deployed toward the Iranian coast. Davis interpreted this maneuver as a sign of preparations for large-scale military action, including the possibility of an amphibious operation. He suggested that a strike on Iran could follow on an extremely short timeline, potentially within 24 hours.
Earlier, CNN reported, citing informed sources, that Trump is considering a hardline military option if negotiations with Tehran collapse. According to the network, this scenario would involve powerful strikes against Iranian facilities.
The New York Times has also noted that the past week brought no progress in efforts to ease tensions around Iran. The newspaper reported that talks have effectively stalled due to Tehran’s refusal to make concessions in response to demands from the U.S. administration.
