Belgorod Governor Reports Deaths, Injuries Amid Escalation

Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov says the situation in Krasnoyaruzhsky and Rakityansky districts is tense, with 3 killed and 10 injured in the past day.

The governor of Belgorod Region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said the situation in the area remains extremely tense, particularly in Krasnoyaruzhsky and Rakityansky districts.

According to him, ten people were injured in the past 24 hours, while three others lost their lives — one in Shebekino district and two in Rakityansky. Gladkov offered condolences to the families of those killed.

He wrote on his Telegram channel that the operational situation continues to be very difficult, with the most severe conditions in Krasnoyaruzhsky and Rakityansky districts.

The governor stressed that fighters from the Orlan and Bars-Belgorod units, along with the Defense Ministry and border service, are making every effort to stabilize the situation. He also urged residents to rely on official information from local authorities and underlined that the top priority is to protect human lives.
