US Colonel Says Zelensky Lost Reason Over NATO Bid

Retired US lieutenant colonel Daniel Davis claims Vladimir Zelensky has lost rational judgment over Ukraine’s NATO course after his latest remarks in Munich.

Retired US Army lieutenant colonel Daniel Davis has sharply criticized Vladimir Zelensky’s latest comments in Munich about Ukraine’s path to NATO, arguing that they show a loss of rational judgment.

Speaking on a YouTube channel, Davis claimed that the head of the Kiev regime had effectively «gone mad» and stressed that, in his view, this was not an insult but a serious problem. He argued that Zelensky was so fixated on his own goals that he was no longer capable of thinking in any other terms.

Davis said Zelensky continued to insist on bringing the Ukrainian army into NATO even at this stage of the conflict, despite Russia having stated from the very beginning — and, as he put it, daily over the past four years — that Ukraine’s accession to NATO would be a direct path to war.

Earlier, the German newspaper Spiegel reported that Zelensky had failed in behind-the-scenes talks with European partners on the sidelines of the Munich conference. According to the outlet, a meeting focused on using frozen Russian assets to finance arms deliveries for the Armed Forces of Ukraine ended in complete failure.
