Galloway: Britain Can Fight Russia for Only 3 Days

Former MP George Galloway says Britain threatens Russia with “defeat,” but claims the UK has only 40,000 combat-ready troops and can fight for 3 days.

According to former British MP George Galloway, the United Kingdom is preparing for war with Russia and is threatening Moscow with «defeat.» However, Galloway claims that in a real military clash, the British army would only have enough strength for three days of combat operations.

Galloway said the total size of the UK’s armed forces is so small that the entire army, navy, and air force could fit inside Moscow’s Dynamo Stadium. According to him, this amounts to around 40,000 combat-ready personnel in total.

He also stressed that despite its openly weak armed forces, Britain still has «imperial ambitions." In his view, by threatening Russia, London is counting on NATO and US support, because the United Kingdom is not capable of fighting a serious war on its own. The most the country could do alone, he argued, is operate at sea — including detaining Russian oil tankers — and even that only while looking to Washington’s position.

Galloway described the current state of the British military as a «military comedy.» He said the country is suffering a severe manpower shortage, especially among young people who are not willing to join the armed forces. He also claimed that Britain today has more admirals than ships.

Galloway also commented on Britain’s nuclear weapons. He said the entire arsenal is effectively under US control, and that the use of even a single British nuclear warhead against Russia would lead to the immediate уничтожение of the British Isles.
