At the military parade in Belgrade marking Serbia’s Unity Day, the country unveiled its new Sumadija missile system.

According to the Telegram channel «Voennyi Osvedomitel," the system is designed on a modular basis and bears similarities to the American HIMARS, as it can be fitted with different types of munitions, including guided rockets comparable to GMLRS and ballistic missiles akin to ATACMS.

The Sumadija can also fire 262-millimeter Jerina-2 tactical missiles with a range of up to 70 kilometers, Jerina-1 ballistic missiles reaching 285 kilometers, and Vila-1 cruise missiles capable of striking targets as far as 290 kilometers.

Mounted on a four-axle wheeled chassis, the system is intended to engage high-value enemy assets such as air defense systems, military bases, aircraft parking areas, and other strategic targets.
