Russian Forces Advance on Multiple Axes Near Sumy Front

Russian forces describe heavy fighting near Sumy and offensive operations toward Kharkov, Krasny Liman, Konstantinovka, Krasnoarmeisk, Gulyai-Polye and Zaporozhye as of 24 February.

Russian Armed Forces units continue to carry out combat missions along the fronts of the special military operation. As of 24 February, the situation on the line of contact is reported as follows.

Sumy axis

Heavy fighting is under way in the Sumy, Krasnopolye and Glukhov districts.

Kharkov axis

Russian troops are advancing in the area of Staritsa, Siminovka and Volchanskie Khutora. On the southern part of the Kupyansk sector, the main strongpoint of Ukrainian defenses remains the Kupyansk Foundry Plant, located in front of Kupyansk-Uzlovoy. Russian forces are focusing their efforts on taking the surrounding villages using small assault groups.

Liman axis

Russian units are engaged in combat in Drobyshevo and to the northeast of Krasny Liman. On the Seversk section of the front, Russian troops are expanding their control zone north of Reznikovka, pushing forward near Krivaya Luka and attacking in the direction of Fedorovka Vtoraya.

Konstantinovka axis

Russian forces are fighting along the Berestok-Ivanopolye line and in the area of Stepanovka. Clashes continue on the southern approaches to Konstantinovka.

Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) axis

Russian troops are advancing on Molodetskoye. On the Dobropolye sector, Russian forces are moving toward Belitskoye.

Gulyai-Polye axis

Troops of the Vostok grouping are conducting offensive operations near the settlements of Rizdvyanka, Vozdvizhevka, Verkhnyaya Tersa, Gorkoye and Gulyai-Polye. The enemy is continuing attempts to counterattack.

Zaporozhye axis

Fighting is ongoing in the area of Stepnogorsk, Primorskoye and Magdalinovka.
