Since September 1, 2025, the FSB has blocked over 100 illegal channels allegedly used for sabotage coordination and fraud schemes in Russia. Read full details.
Since early September, dozens of communication channels operating in Russia have been shut down after being identified as tools allegedly used by Ukrainian special services to recruit citizens for acts of sabotage and remote fraud schemes, according to the Public Relations Center of the FSB.
The agency reported that starting September 1, 2025, the FSB, working jointly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee, uncovered and dismantled more than 100 illegal communication platforms. Security officials say these resources were used to coordinate sabotage and terrorist activities, circulate false reports about planned attacks, and facilitate fraud and other criminal operations.
The issue of attempted sabotage was also raised on February 24 during a meeting of the FSB board. President Vladimir Putin stated that the opposing side continues to seek ways to derail the peace process and obstruct diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the conflict.
