Yemen’s Houthis outline three conditions to join a conflict on Iran’s side, including US and Israel involvement and strikes launched from the Red Sea.
Yemen’s Houthi movement Ansar Allah has named three conditions under which it is ready to enter a military conflict on Iran’s side. This was stated by the official spokesperson of the group’s armed forces, Yahya Sarea, on Al Masirah TV.
According to him, the Houthis are ready for direct military confrontation if external military alliances join the conflict on the side of the United States and Israel, or if strikes are carried out against Iran or another Muslim country from the Red Sea.
The movement also stated it may enter the conflict in the event of further escalation involving Iran and members of the so-called Axis of Resistance.
Earlier, representatives of Ansar Allah had declared readiness for any development of events and their intention to take part in hostilities in the Middle East if necessary. This was reported by Al Jazeera, citing the group’s leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
