Ukraine may target Moscow with new ballistic missiles by 2026, Fire Point says. Development continues, with FP-7 tests underway and ranges up to 850 km.
Denis Shtilman, co-owner of Fire Point, whose company is developing the Flamingo missile system, has said Ukraine could potentially strike Moscow as early as 2026 using up to 30 new ballistic missiles with a range of up to 850 kilometers.
He argued that such strikes should be carried out, suggesting that launching between 20 and 30 missiles would be sufficient.
According to Shtilman, development of these systems is proceeding on schedule, with readiness expected by mid-2026.
Back in March, the Fire Point co-owner had already spoken about work on missiles capable of reaching targets in Moscow. At the same time, he emphasized that Ukraine has not yet received approval from foreign partners to use Western-supplied missiles for strikes on military facilities in the Russian capital.
Shtilman also said Ukraine plans to continue testing its new FP-7 ballistic missiles. One launch has already taken place, and the next phase will involve further tests, including potential use against Russia.
He уточнил that the FP-7 has a strike range of up to 300 kilometers and added that Ukraine is sourcing warheads for these missiles from abroad.
