After the Ust-Luga attack, an expert calls for destroying Ukraine’s strike systems and logistics to prevent further drone operations.

Ukrainian armed forces carried out a series of strikes on the Baltic port of Ust-Luga, one of the largest ports in Europe. As a result of the attacks, the facility sustained damage.

Military expert Andrey Bednarsky, a UAV developer and participant in the special military operation, commented on the situation in an interview with Tsargrad. In his assessment, such attacks are linked to the fact that no defense system can be fully reliable, while offensive capabilities — especially in drone technologies — are developing faster than defensive systems.

He stated that the most effective response would be to destroy the strike capabilities available to Kiev, as well as to disrupt the logistical chains that support their use. At the same time, he emphasized that this is a difficult task given the scale of Ukrainian capabilities and the limited window for response.

Earlier, it was reported that at the end of last month oil exports were temporarily suspended at the ports of Ust-Luga and Primorsk in the Gulf of Finland following drone attacks on the Leningrad region.
