Russian Forces Switch to Domestic Secure Communications

Russian forces in Kharkov region use domestic encrypted communications, including Azart radios and secure messaging systems.

Units of the Russian «North» grouping in the Kharkov region are using domestic communication systems that are not dependent on foreign social networks or messengers. This was reported to RIA Novosti by an artillery commander with the callsign «Molot.»

According to him, communication with command posts and between crews is carried out using Russian-made radio systems, including the Azart system, as well as internal encrypted communication channels.

He also stated that the units use a domestic messenger operating over protected communication channels with certified security tools. According to him, the service supports modern features such as video calls, group chats, audio conferences, and file sharing.
