Russian MoD: Ukraine Lost 1,490 Troops in One Day of Fighting

The Russian Defense Ministry says Ukrainian forces lost about 1,490 troops in 24 hours, along with tanks, vehicles, artillery, EW stations, and ammo depots.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has released its latest daily report on Ukrainian losses, providing a detailed breakdown across several sectors of the front.
According to the Zapad (West) grouping of Russian forces, Ukrainian losses for the day amounted to up to 220 troops. In addition, 13 vehicles, five field artillery pieces, eight electronic warfare (EW) stations, and seven ammunition depots were destroyed.
The Yug (South) grouping reported 225 Ukrainian soldiers and officers eliminated. Ukrainian forces also lost a tank, seven armored fighting vehicles, 13 vehicles, four field artillery guns, one EW station, and 11 ammunition depots in this sector.
In the Sever (North) sector, Russian troops reported 170 Ukrainian personnel killed. Equipment losses included one armored fighting vehicle, eight vehicles, two artillery pieces, an EW station, and two ammunition depots.
The Vostok (East) grouping reported 280 Ukrainian troops eliminated in its area of responsibility, along with two armored fighting vehicles, 10 vehicles, and one EW station.
Forces of the Dnepr grouping said they had eliminated 65 Ukrainian troops, destroyed a Kazak armored vehicle, eight vehicles, six unmanned surface boats, four EW stations, and two ammunition depots.
Finally, the Tsentr (Center) grouping reported the highest figure — an estimated 530 Ukrainian personnel killed — along with the destruction of one armored fighting vehicle, 11 pickup trucks, and three artillery pieces.
In total, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that Ukrainian forces lost approximately 1,490 soldiers over the past 24 hours.
