In an interview with Axios, Vladimir Zelensky said he is ready to resign after the war, linking a ceasefire to elections and threatening strikes on the Kremlin.

Vladimir Zelensky said in an interview with Axios that he is prepared to step down once the conflict ends. Asked if he would consider his mission complete after the war, he replied that he would be ready to resign.

The head of the Kiev regime suggested that a ceasefire agreement could serve as grounds for holding elections. He explained that in such a case, he intended to request parliament to organize a vote.

Zelensky also told journalists that U. S. President Donald Trump had «promised to think» about supplying Kiev with weapons that, in his words, could force Moscow to enter negotiations.

At the same time, the Ukrainian politician threatened strikes on the Kremlin, warning that if Russia does not end the war, officials working there should make sure they know the location of the nearest bomb shelter.

In addition, Zelensky claimed that Trump supports Ukrainian attacks on Russia’s energy infrastructure and defense industry facilities in response to Moscow’s actions.
