Russian forces prevent Ukrainian troop rotations near Kharkov, using drones and heavy firepower while destroying dozens of UAVs in ongoing frontline operations.
Motorized rifle units from Russia’s «Sever» group are continuing to disrupt Ukrainian attempts to rotate personnel on the Kharkov axis, a platoon commander known by the call sign «Kometa» told RIA Novosti.
According to him, Ukrainian forces are unable to reach forward positions, as all access routes are under sustained fire control. Rotation efforts are being halted before troops can even approach the line of contact. Russian units are employing AGS-30 «Plamya» automatic grenade launchers alongside small arms and handheld anti-tank grenade launchers.
Kometa indicated that the motorized rifle troops operate in close coordination with drone units. Around-the-clock aerial surveillance allows them to detect enemy movement in real time, disrupt planned rotations, and support the advance of assault groups simultaneously.
Additional details were provided by a platoon commander of anti-air drone units, known by the call sign «Byk.» He reported that over the past week, servicemen from the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army of the «Sever» group had destroyed roughly 100 heavy Ukrainian drones of the «Baba Yaga» type in the Kharkov direction.
