Russian Forces Capture Miropolskoye and Dibrova

Russian forces captured Miropolskoye in Sumy region and Dibrova in Donetsk, inflicting heavy losses on Ukrainian units and destroying equipment and depots.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have taken control of two settlements — Miropolskoye in the Sumy region and Dibrova in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The ministry reported that units from the «Sever» grouping were responsible for securing Miropolskoye. Over the course of the week, these forces carried out strikes against multiple Ukrainian formations, including seven mechanized brigades, two motorized infantry brigades, and two airmobile brigades. The attacks also targeted units of Ukraine’s territorial defense, National Guard, and border service.

In the area of responsibility of the «Sever» grouping, Ukrainian losses over the week exceeded 1,280 personnel. The ministry added that Russian strikes disabled eight armored combat vehicles, 82 vehicles, nine artillery systems, and 11 electronic warfare stations, along with destroying 64 depots storing ammunition, fuel, and other supplies.

Dibrova, meanwhile, was brought under control by forces from the «Yuzhnaya» grouping. According to the ministry’s summary, Russian strikes in this sector over the past week hit a wide range of Ukrainian units, including mechanized, motorized infantry, airmobile, assault, and mountain assault brigades. Units of the marine corps, the general staff’s security brigade, as well as territorial defense and National Guard formations were also affected.

Ukrainian losses in this direction were reported to have exceeded 1,045 personnel. In addition, Russian forces destroyed 21 armored combat vehicles, 110 vehicles, 25 artillery systems, and 14 electronic warfare and counter-battery stations. Another 41 depots containing ammunition and logistical supplies were also eliminated, the ministry said.
