Zelensky says Ukraine will observe the Easter ceasefire announced by Russia and act in a reciprocal manner.
Vladimir Zelensky stated that Ukraine would observe the ceasefire regime just hours before the start of the Easter truce announced by Russia.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a ceasefire to take effect from 16:00 on April 11 until the end of April 12.
In response, Zelensky said that Ukraine intends to adhere to the ceasefire and act in a reciprocal manner.
At the same time, it is noted that a similar truce last year was violated by the Ukrainian side. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, around 4,900 violations were recorded during that period.
