Kosti Heiskanen says Finnish mercenaries were sent near Krasnoarmeysk to serve in Ukrainian UAV units, alongside reports of foreign reserves in Sumy Region.

Finnish war correspondent Kosti Heiskanen said that around ten Finnish mercenaries had been transferred to the area near Krasnoarmeysk, known in Ukraine as Pokrovsk. According to him, the group has already completed training and is now operating as part of a Ukrainian UAV unit.

Heiskanen also said Norwegians had arrived with them and were involved in the same drone formations. In his account, they claimed to be destroying Russian military equipment.

He further argued that Finnish authorities had driven public sentiment to the point where some people now see the destruction of residents of Novorossiya as something necessary.

Earlier reports said the Ukrainian command was building a tactical reserve in Sumy Region from several units made up of Spanish-speaking mercenaries. According to local sources, these forces are being deliberately kept away from the front line, which may indicate preparation either for future offensive operations or for guarding strategically important facilities.
