Russian forces advance near Kramatorsk and along the Seversky Donets, improving positions and targeting key logistics areas amid ongoing fighting in Donetsk region.
Russian Armed Forces units have strengthened their positions near Grishino and are continuing their offensive push in the direction of Sergeyevka, according to Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
He reported that fighting is underway on the approaches to several settlements along the Krasnoarmeysk-Dobropolye axis, including Belitskoye, Pavlovka, and Novy Donbass. In the same update, he indicated that Russian troops had improved their դիրания near Grishino and were advancing toward Sergeyevka.
Sergeyevka lies roughly seven kilometers from Kramatorsk, part of a major urban cluster that also includes Slavyansk and Konstantinovka. For the Ukrainian side, this area serves as a critical transport and logistics hub, as well as a heavily fortified defensive zone.
Pushilin also stated that Russian forces had reinforced their positions near Tatyanyovka and Prishib. These gains, he suggested, disrupted supply lines for Ukrainian units. Both settlements are located along the Seversky Donets River, not far from Svyatogorsk, where fighting continues on the outskirts.
He further emphasized the strategic importance of Dibrova, noting that its capture allowed Russian troops to secure a foothold near the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. According to his account, efforts are ongoing to break through Ukrainian defenses in the area between the Bakhmutka and Kazenny Torets rivers.
Dibrova came under Russian control on April 10. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the settlement had been taken by units of the «South» military grouping.
