Rostec delivers new Planshet-A artillery systems to Russian troops, boosting accuracy, reducing ammo use, and speeding up targeting in modern combat.

Russia’s state corporation Rostec has delivered another batch of «Planshet-A» artillery fire control systems to the military, the company’s press service reported. The system is designed to improve strike accuracy while reducing ammunition consumption.

The delivery was carried out by the High-Precision Systems holding, a Rostec subsidiary. Company representatives emphasized that the Planshet-A is compatible with multiple types of artillery and enhances their overall effectiveness on the battlefield.

The system itself is a modern computing complex that automates fire control for self-propelled and towed howitzers, multiple launch rocket systems, as well as mortar units. According to Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of Rostec’s weapons cluster, the system is already being supplied to troops on a serial basis and is in extensive use in the special military operation zone.

Planshet-A is said to be particularly effective in counter-battery warfare. It can rapidly process large volumes of data, including inputs from drones, perform complex calculations, and guide artillery with high precision.

Rostec also emphasized that the system significantly shortens the time between target detection and opening fire — a critical advantage in fast-changing combat conditions where every second matters.
