Russian MoD: Kirovsk Cleared of Enemy Troops, Gains on All Fronts

Russian forces report clearing Kirovsk of Ukrainian troops, striking positions near Kotlyarovka and Sinkovka, and inflicting major losses across all battlefronts.

The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of September 26, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:

Kharkov Axis

The Sever grouping struck Ukrainian positions in Alekseevka, Andreevka, Khrapovshchina, and Yunakovka (Sumy Region), as well as in Volchansk and Bochkovо. Enemy losses amounted to around 170 personnel. Equipment, ammunition depots, and supply stockpiles were also destroyed.

Kupyansk Axis

The Zapad grouping is completing the liberation of Kirovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Russian forces are now clearing the settlement of remaining Ukrainian troops. Strikes were also carried out on Ukrainian positions near Kotlyarovka and Sinkovka, inflicting significant losses.

Zaporozhye Axis

Units of the Vostok grouping advanced deeper into Ukrainian defenses in Malomikhaylovka, Orly, Novogrigorovka, and Poltavka. Ukrainian losses reached up to 280 troops, with equipment and an electronic warfare (EW) station destroyed.

Donetsk Axis

The Yug grouping repelled Ukrainian attempts to break through south of Kleban-Byk. Russian strikes hit enemy positions in Berestki, Ilyinovka, Konstantinovka, and Seversk.

Krasny Liman Axis

The Tsentr grouping consolidated positions on newly secured lines and attacked Ukrainian forces in six settlements across Donetsk Region, eliminating manpower and equipment.
