Russia Reports Six Strikes on Ukraine Military and Energy Sites
Russia says it launched six strikes on Ukraine’s military industry, energy sites, airfields, and drone facilities in response to attacks on its territory.
Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that over the past week, the Russian Armed Forces carried out six retaliatory strikes against targets in Ukraine.
According to the ministry, between April 11 and April 17, in response to attacks on civilian infrastructure in Russia, one massive strike and five group strikes were conducted using long-range precision weapons launched from air, sea, and ground platforms, as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles.
As stated, the strikes targeted Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities involved in the production of cruise missiles, fuel and energy and transport infrastructure used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military airfields, assembly and storage sites for strike drones, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries.
