Frontline Update: Russian Advances Reported on Multiple Axes

Russian forces report advances near Kupyansk, Seversk and Dnepr directions, with ongoing battles across multiple sectors of the frontline.

The Russian Armed Forces continue conducting the special military operation in Ukraine. As of April 18, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:

Kupyansk direction

Russian forces are advancing on the left bank. Control has been established over forest areas east of Kucherovka. Partial control has been restored in central Kupyansk. Fighting continues in Kurilovka and Novoosinovo.

Dobropolye direction

Meeting engagements are taking place in Belitskoye near the Gornyak garden association and in Kutuzovka. Russian forces are applying pressure on Ukrainian positions in Dobropolye.

Seversk direction

Russian forces have advanced toward Ray-Aleksandrovka. Fighting is ongoing near the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. The sector between Stary Karavan and Brusovka has shifted into a gray zone.

Dnepr direction

Russian forces have expanded their zone of control northwest of Aleksandrograd. Fighting continues in forest areas between the Volchya and Kamenka rivers.

Krasny Liman direction

Russian strikes on Krasny Liman продолжаются. Fighting is reported near Maslyakovka, Yar Pinkova, and Stavki.

Zaporozhye direction

No significant changes. Fighting continues in Primorskoye and Stepnogorsk.
