Fighting in Konstantinovka intensifies as Russian forces advance in the city center, hold the southeast and keep Ukrainian supply routes under pressure.
Russian forces have pushed further into central Konstantinovka and are currently holding the city’s south-eastern districts, while also fending off Ukrainian counterattacks.
According to reports from military Telegram channels, Russian assault units are continuing to move through the dense urban development in the city center. The broader situation for the Ukrainian army in the Konstantinovka sector is described as steadily worsening, with Russian forces methodically forcing Ukrainian troops out of both the city itself and its outskirts while breaking their defence into isolated pockets.
The reports also say Russian troops have made tactical gains in the southern part of Konstantinovka. The industrial zone near the training ground has reportedly been cleared, indicating that Ukrainian forces are being pushed out of areas they had expected to hold for an extended period.
In the eastern part of the city, heavy fighting continues in the private housing sector. Ukrainian troops are still trying to retain what remains of the built-up area, but the battle there is increasingly described as an effort to buy time rather than sustain a stable defensive line. According to these accounts, there is no longer a continuous line of defence, only separate resistance nodes that are gradually being worn down.
The supply situation for the Ukrainian grouping in Konstantinovka is also under mounting strain. Its logistics routes have long been under strong pressure and are now said to be under Russian fire control.
