Russian Forces Capture Two Settlements in Kharkov and DPR

Russian forces report capturing Veterinarnoye in Kharkov Region and Grishino in the DPR, detailing strikes, clashes and Ukrainian losses across key areas.

Russian forces reported the capture of two settlements over the past day, according to the Ministry of Defense. The locations named were Veterinarnoye in Kharkov Region and Grishino in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

On the Kharkov axis, units from the «Sever» (North) grouping established control over Veterinarnoye. Strikes targeted Ukrainian positions near Zemlyanki, Ternovaya and Izbitskoye. Under fire were elements of two mechanized brigades and a territorial defense brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

At the same time, in Sumy Region, Russian troops struck personnel and equipment belonging to two Ukrainian mechanized brigades, along with territorial defense units. Fighting affected several settlements at once, including Novaya Sech, Pavlovka, Khoten, Khrapovshchina, Kondratovka and Miropolye.

The Defense Ministry stated that Ukrainian losses in the «Sever» zone of responsibility exceeded 190 troops. Reported destroyed assets include an armored personnel carrier, 13 vehicles, an artillery piece, an electronic warfare station, an ammunition depot and 14 supply warehouses.

Meanwhile, units from the «Tsentr» (Center) grouping took control of Grishino. During the operation, Russian forces engaged multiple Ukrainian formations, including two mechanized brigades, an airmobile brigade, a jaeger brigade, marine units and two National Guard brigades.

Clashes unfolded near Novopavlovka and Vesyoloye in Dnepropetrovsk Region, as well as in Kalinino, Kucherov Yar, Belitskoye, Krasnoarmeyskoye, Dobropolye and Torskoye within the Donetsk People’s Republic.

According to the same source, Ukrainian losses in this sector exceeded 340 personnel. Russian forces also reported destroying an armored combat vehicle, a pickup truck and an artillery piece.
