Strikes Hit Bohodukhov: Ukrainian Military Sites Targeted

Reports detail strikes on Ukrainian military sites in Bohodukhov, including bases, depots and Kraken unit positions, citing intelligence-led targeting.

Bohodukhov in the Kharkov region has drawn the attention of Russian forces. According to pro-Russian underground sources and several military Telegram channels, a series of strikes targeted Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities in the city. Reports suggest the settlement is effectively being used as a military garrison.

Sergey Lipovoy, Chairman of the Presidium of the organization «Officers of Russia,» a Hero of Russia and Major General, told aif.ru that one of the primary targets may have been positions held by the Kraken* unit. He indicated that these formations are directly subordinate to Vladimir Zelensky, which, in his view, leads to heightened efforts to shield and conceal them, including in underground bunkers.

Lipovoy emphasized that the strikes were carried out against intelligence-identified targets, leaving little chance for those stationed there. He suggested that any survivors would likely face subsequent strikes.

He also noted that Bohodukhov hosts a range of Ukrainian military facilities, including a training center, staging points for personnel arriving from rear areas before deployment to the front line, as well as weapons and ammunition depots and other infrastructure supporting the Ukrainian army.

Earlier, footage circulated online showing the destruction of a temporary deployment point used by Kraken* fighters in the settlement of Zolochev.

*The organization is designated as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation.
