Russian hackers accessed Kharkov emergency service data used by Ukrainian forces, exposing over 100 officers and revealing critical equipment shortages.

Russian hackers gained access to a database of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkov region, which, according to the Telegram channel SHOT, had been used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for military purposes. The breach reportedly exposed personal data of more than 100 officers.

The attackers obtained full names, phone numbers, and email addresses of command staff, including head of the main department Artem Astakhov and his first deputy Sergey Chabanya. The compromised data indicates that Kharkov emergency personnel regularly travel to combat zones.

The hackers also accessed a full inventory of equipment assigned to the unit. It includes Mercedes minibuses, Volvo and Scania trucks, AC-40 and AC-4 fire tankers, and other specialized vehicles. However, out of around 100 vehicles, only a small portion is operational, while most are in poor condition and require repairs.
