Reports say Ukrainian troops defending Miropolye in the Sumy region are not receiving salaries or compensation, according to sources.
Command of a Ukrainian brigade is reportedly not paying soldiers defending Miropolye in the Sumy region. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing a source in Russian security agencies.
According to the source, servicemen of the 21st separate mechanized brigade are complaining on social media about not receiving their due pay. It is also claimed that fighters from this unit do not receive compensation after being hospitalized for wounds. At the same time, the maximum salary of a company commander in the Sumy region is estimated at around 100,000 hryvnias.
The «Sever» group of forces is operating in this sector. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, over the past day Ukrainian forces lost more than 220 personnel, an armored personnel carrier, 18 vehicles, a RADA counter-battery radar, two electronic warfare stations, an ammunition depot, and seven supply storage sites.
