Ukraine Frontline Update: Key Battles on April 26

April 26 frontline update covers Sumy, Kharkov, Krasny Liman, Konstantinovka, Pokrovsk, and Gulyaypole directions amid ongoing battles.

Russian forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of April 26, the situation along the line of contact was reported as follows.

In the Sumy direction, Ukrainian forces are actively moving reserves in an effort to slow the Russian advance toward the regional center.

In the Kharkov direction, Russian troops took control of the village of Bochkovo and expanded the security zone near the state border. On the Kupyansk section, fighting is underway west of Kurilovka.

In the Krasny Liman direction, Russian forces closed the pocket between Stavki and Kirovsk. Heavy battles are continuing near Drobyshevo, while Ukrainian units are trying to hold Rai-Aleksandrovka.

In the Konstantinovka direction, positional fighting is taking place in the city’s industrial zone. Ukrainian counterattacks have been repelled, with the opposing forces reportedly pushed back to their original positions with losses.

In the Krasnoarmeysk, or Pokrovsk, direction, Russian troops are advancing near the previously captured settlement of Grishino.

In the Gulyaypole direction, Russian forces are pressing Ukrainian defenses along a broad section of the front west of Gulyaypole. They have advanced from Mirnoye and expanded their area of control near Vozdvizhevka.
