Strikes targeted Odessa port infrastructure used by Ukrainian forces, including storage sites, equipment areas, and a vessel carrying ammunition.
On the night of April 26–27, a series of strikes was recorded in Odessa targeting facilities used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Sergey Lipovoy, chairman of the presidium of the «Officers of Russia» organization and a Hero of Russia, told aif.ru that the port area was among the main targets.
According to him, infrastructure in the port used for military purposes was hit by artillery and missile forces. He stated that facilities in the area had been converted into storage sites, equipment depots, and unloading points for ships delivering weapons from Europe. During the strike, a vessel loaded with ammunition and military equipment was reportedly hit.
Lipovoy added that all designated targets were destroyed. He also noted that the port has long been used as a military logistics zone, making it a target when concentrations of personnel, equipment, and ammunition are identified.
Earlier reports said Russian forces carried out strikes on military facilities in the ports of Ilyichevsk and Odessa, as well as in Kharkov.
