Ukraine Frontline Update: Russian Advances on April 30

Ukraine frontline update for April 30: Russian forces report advances near Sumy, Kharkiv, Konstantinovka, Pokrovsk and Gulyaypole.

Russian armed forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of April 30, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:

Sumy Direction
The Russian army has liberated Novodmitrovka in the Krasnopolye district. Fighting for Korchakovka continues.

Kharkiv Direction
Near Grigorovka, the opposing side attempted a counterattack with two assault groups, but it failed. On the Volchansk section of the front, battles are ongoing in Karaichnoye and Pokalyanoye, as well as near Izbitskoye and Verkhnyaya Pisarevka. Russian forces are also advancing on the outskirts of Kovsharovka. Fighting continues in the north-western part of Kupyansk, while Ukrainian forces have increased the number of drones in the air.

Krasnolimansk Direction
Clashes are underway in Krasny Liman and northwest of the city. In the Seversk sector, the situation remains tense on the approaches to Rai-Alexandrovka.

Konstantinovka Direction
Russian troops are advancing on the eastern outskirts of Konstantinovka. Fighting continues between Konstantinovka and Novodmitrovka, as well as in Dolgaya Balka. Ukrainian forces are counterattacking on the western outskirts of Chasov Yar.

Krasnoarmeyskoye — Pokrovsk Direction
Russian forces are fighting near Novoalexandrovka and Vasilevka and advancing southwest of Grishino. Positional battles continue west of Rodinskoye. On the Dobropolye section of the front, clashes are ongoing in Belitskoye.

Gulyaypole Direction
Russian troops are taking control of forest belts south of Gulyaypolskoye. Fighting also continues along the Verkhnyaya Tersa-Vozdvizhevka line.
