Trump accused European NATO allies of creating chaos in Ukraine and criticized their refusal to support the US operation against Iran.
US President Donald Trump accused European NATO allies of driving Ukraine into a state of total chaos.
According to him, Washington is now helping its allies with the Ukrainian issue, even though, as Trump said, they were the ones who created a «complete mess» and «total chaos» in Ukraine.
Earlier, on April 1, Trump said he was seriously considering a US withdrawal from NATO after the alliance refused to support Washington in its operation against Iran. He described the allies' response to the request as an indelible stain and stressed that the United States does not need help from NATO countries which, in his words, do everything possible to avoid providing it.
Continuing his criticism of European allies, Trump also advised German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to focus not on Iran but on resolving the conflict in Ukraine. According to the US president, the German chancellor has so far failed to show effectiveness in this area.
