Russian forces struck port facilities in Odessa Region overnight, with reported damage in Izmail, Greater Odessa, Sumy and Kharkov.
Russian forces carried out overnight strikes on port infrastructure in Odessa Region, according to the Ukrainian outlet Strana.ua, which cited the local Sea Ports Administration.
The report said the attacks targeted Ukrainian ports on the Danube, including Izmail, as well as port facilities in the Greater Odessa area.
The strikes reportedly damaged pier and warehouse infrastructure. Fires broke out at some sites after the impacts, while emergency and specialist teams were deployed to the affected facilities.
RT, citing Ukrainian monitoring resources, also reported a series of strikes on targets in Sumy and Kharkov.
Earlier, it was reported that Russian forces had launched one massive and five group retaliatory strikes with long-range precision weapons between April 25 and May 1. The Russian Defense Ministry said the attacks were carried out in response to Ukrainian terrorist strikes on civilian facilities inside Russia.
According to the ministry, the targets included Ukrainian military infrastructure, defense industry enterprises and fuel-and-energy facilities.
