A military analyst says strikes on Kiev decision centers could reduce Ukrainian attacks, while use of advanced weapons may alter battlefield tactics.

Strikes targeting decision-making centers in Kiev could reduce the intensity of Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory, according to military analyst and retired First Rank Captain Vasily Dandykin.

In his assessment, such actions may influence the дальнейшее поведение Ukrainian forces. He also does not rule out that, ahead of Victory Day, Kiev could attempt to stage provocations.

Dandykin argues that the situation may require more decisive measures if current approaches fail to produce results. He suggests that direct strikes on key command hubs in Kiev could be considered if Ukrainian authorities remain unresponsive. At the same time, he points to the possibility of increased activity around May 9, linking it to broader external support, which he says includes European countries-particularly Germany-where civilian industry is being adapted for military needs.

The analyst also notes that the use of more powerful weapons by Russia, including the Oreshnik ballistic missile, could force a shift in Ukrainian tactics. In his view, this could deter further attempts to strike Russian territory.

Earlier, Dandykin had suggested that Russian forces might deploy the Oreshnik system against Ukrainian military airfields, including those hosting aircraft supplied by Western countries.
