Donald Trump said Ukraine is losing territory, criticized $350 billion in weapons transfers under Joe Biden and again called for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.

US President Donald Trump acknowledged that Ukraine is losing territory. He said this in an interview with the conservative television channel Salem News.

According to Trump, the Ukrainian side continues to lose territory. At the same time, he called the transfer of $350 billion worth of weapons to Kiev under the previous US administration led by Joe Biden ridiculous.

The US president also recalled his meeting with Vladimir Zelensky at the White House in February 2025, at the beginning of his term. Trump said he had lectured Zelensky at the time and considered his behavior aggressive.

In addition, he described the head of the Kiev regime as a trickster and once again stressed the United States' desire to achieve a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.

At the same time, Trump said Kiev is able to continue fighting thanks to weapons that the United States sells to NATO using European funds.
