Dmitry Medvedev said persuasion and unilateral steps cannot prevent a major bloodshed, arguing that Europe must understand the inevitability of unacceptable damage if it acts against Russia.
Dmitry Medvedev said that persuasion, displays of goodwill and unilateral steps cannot prevent a major bloodshed.
According to him, the only effective way to deter the West is to make Europe, above all Germany, understand the inevitability of unacceptable damage if aggressive plans against Russia are implemented.
Medvedev stressed that Germany and the «united Europe» supporting it must realize that such damage would be unavoidable if they attempt to carry out a «Barbarossa 2.0» plan.
He also noted that Europe is trying to impose the concept of «peace through strength» on Russia. In response, Medvedev believes Russia can ensure its security only by instilling animal fear in Europe.
Earlier, Medvedev said Germany had not undergone a cleansing from pro-fascist organizations.
