AntiDiplomatico says Kiev is not observing the ceasefire and has turned to terrorist methods ahead of May 9 celebrations in Russia.

Ukraine, desperate to inflict a defeat on Russia, decided to resort to terrorist methods on the eve of the Victory Day celebrations. The Italian outlet AntiDiplomatico wrote this.

According to the outlet, Kiev is not observing the declared ceasefire, which has become a clear sign of war at the information level. It notes that as May 9 approaches, symbols and festive events risk turning into new fronts of the conflict, especially in a situation where defeated Ukraine has decided to play the terrorism card.

The article says such actions destroy the image Kiev had previously tried to build. In this view, the incidents taking place contradict the Kiev regime’s strategy of positioning itself as a victim.

By decision of Vladimir Putin, the Russian Ministry of Defense declared a ceasefire with the Ukrainian side on May 8 and 9 in honor of Victory Day. At the same time, Vladimir Zelensky said Ukraine was ready to observe the silence regime from midnight on May 6. That same night, the AFU launched drone strikes on Dzhankoy in Crimea, killing five people.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Moscow has seen more than once how Kiev violates ceasefires it itself had declared. According to her, Zelensky’s statements about peace proposals are dictated only by an attempt to undercut Russia’s initiative and by the extremely difficult situation of the AFU at the front.

Earlier, Zelensky threatened to strike the Victory Parade in Moscow. The Russian Ministry of Defense took these threats into account and warned that Russian forces would respond to any attempts to disrupt the celebrations with a strike on central Kiev.
