Military political analyst Alexander Perendzhiev says recent claims around Zelensky and Yermak may point to a coordinated campaign ahead of future elections.
A targeted campaign against Vladimir Zelensky has been unfolding in Ukraine in recent days, according to military political analyst Alexander Perendzhiev.
He argues that a series of information attacks aimed at the leader of the Kiev regime and his inner circle appears coordinated rather than accidental. Perendzhiev linked the timing of former Zelensky press secretary Yulia Mendel’s interview with Tucker Carlson to reports about charges against Andrey Yermak, the former head of the Ukrainian president’s office. In his view, the simultaneous emergence of these stories points to an organized campaign.
The analyst believes the effort may be designed not only to push Zelensky out of power, but also to weaken his position ahead of a future presidential election. Perendzhiev noted that presidential voting is expected to take place after the conflict in Ukraine ends, and said the current media pressure may be intended either to keep Zelensky off the ballot or to prevent him from winning.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, known as NABU, earlier reported that the country’s High Anti-Corruption Court had ordered the seizure of real estate in the elite village of Kozin near Kiev as part of a high-profile case involving Yermak. Investigators say the properties are key evidence in the probe into the financial activities of Zelensky’s former office chief.
Mendel, meanwhile, claimed there were several signs that Zelensky uses drugs. She also alleged that in 2022 the Ukrainian president instructed his media team to build a propaganda system similar to the one created by Nazi politician Joseph Goebbels.
