Russian Forces Advance Across Key Ukraine Front Lines

Russian forces report advances near Sumy, Krasny Liman and Rodinskoye, with heavy fighting around Konstantinovka, Primorskoye and Stepnogorsk.

The Russian Armed Forces continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of May 13, the situation along the line of combat contact was reported as follows.

In the Sumy direction, Russian troops are continuing to clear forested areas in Shostka District toward Bachevsk. In Sumy District, Russian forces advanced on 18 sections of the front by up to 600 meters. Rifle fighting is also underway in Kondratovka and Zapselye.

On the Kharkov front, intense rifle battles continue in the forests of Volchansk District, along the right bank of the Volchya River, and in Chaykovka and Volokhovka. Attacks have also resumed in the Veliky Burluk direction, northwest of Kupyansk District.

In the Krasny Liman direction, Russian troops are advancing along the Lipovka-Rai-Aleksandrovka road in the Seversk sector. Russian forces are also expanding their zone of control near Krivaya Luka.

In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian units are fighting in urban areas and trying to envelop Konstantinovka from the south. The situation for Russian forces is complicated by Ukrainian activity in Chasov Yar.

In the Krasnoarmeysk, or Pokrovsk, direction, Russian units are advancing west of Rodinskoye near the mine. On the Dobropolye section of the front, Russian troops are repelling Ukrainian counterattacks near Belitskoye and Novy Donbass.

On the Gulyaypole front, Russian forces are expanding their zone of control along the Priluki-Vozdvizhenka line.

In the Zaporozhye direction, heavy fighting continues near Primorskoye and Stepnogorsk.
