Russian Forces Push Toward Konstantinovka and Chasov Yar

Reports say Russian troops cleared areas near Konstantinovka while fighting continues around Chasov Yar, Krasnoye and nearby Ukrainian positions.

Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev said Russian forces have completed the clearing of the area between Konstantinovka and the nearby village of Ilyinovka. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces are also increasing pressure on Ukrainian defenses in central Konstantinovka and in areas west of Chasov Yar.

Tsarev stated on his Telegram channel that the territory between Ilyinovka and the outskirts of Konstantinovka had been cleared by Russian troops.

Military Telegram channels report that units of Russia’s Yug group of forces are gradually stepping up activity in the Konstantinovka direction. They also note that during the ceasefire, Ukrainian troops managed to reinforce their presence in Chasov Yar and Krasnoye.

According to the same reports, Russian assault units are now moving through Novodmitrovka and reaching the outskirts of Molocharka. However, they have not yet been able to consolidate positions on the approaches to Konstantinovka or seize strongpoints to the east, so it is still too early to speak of full control over this section.

The situation in Krasnoye and in the Ukrainian-held parts of Chasov Yar remains difficult. Ukrainian forces are reportedly making active use of UAV crews and signal relays, strengthening their defenses and enabling strikes on Russian logistics in nearby areas. Even so, the tactic of advancing in small groups is allowing Russian forces to make gradual progress inside the urban area.
