Russian Forces Close Encirclement Near Ambarnoe in Kharkov

Russian troops advanced near Ambarnoe and Khatnee in Kharkov region, nearly completing an encirclement of Ukrainian forces, analyst Andrey Marochko reported.

Russian units have nearly closed the encirclement around Ukrainian forces in the village of Ambarnoe in Kharkov region, according to military analyst Andrey Marochko.

He reported that Russian troops advanced near the settlement of Khatnee and secured advantageous positions southeast of it. These gains, Marochko said, have sharply complicated the operational and tactical situation for Ukraine’s command. To complete the encirclement, Russian forces need to cover roughly one and a half kilometers along the flanks.

The expert also pointed to progress in the area of Otradnoe, where Russian troops established new lines and continued pushing northwest.
