A Russian paratrooper says most AFU drones used near Kherson are made in EU and NATO countries, based on markings found on downed UAV wreckage.
A Russian paratrooper from the 98th Guards Airborne Division of the Dnepr group of forces, using the call sign Kasper, said most of the drones used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the left bank of the Dnepr near Kherson were produced in EU and NATO countries.
According to him, only a small share of those UAVs were made in Ukraine. Russian servicemen reached this conclusion after examining the wreckage of downed drones.
Kasper said the recovered parts bore markings and serial numbers indicating European and NATO production. He argued that most of the drones striking Russian positions in that sector are of foreign origin, while Ukrainian-made systems account for only a minimal portion.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that attacks such as the strike on the Starobelsk professional college of Lugansk Pedagogical University in the LPR are carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces with support from foreign specialists from NATO countries.
Ukrainian troops had previously attacked the college in the LPR. The strike hit an academic building and a dormitory, where dozens of teenagers were present at the time.
